A bright, crisp, and herbal sparkling cranberry mocktail with fresh rosemary, perfect for a refreshing, alcohol-free drink that’s quick and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to 2 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240 ml) unsweetened cranberry juice
  • Juice of half a lime (about 1 tablespoon / 15 ml)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons (510 ml) simple syrup or honey
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240 ml) ice cubes
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240 ml) sparkling water
  • Optional: fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Optional: orange zest for citrus twist
  • Optional: mint leaves for fresh herb note

Instructions

  1. Gently muddle 1 to 2 fresh rosemary sprigs in a mixing glass or pitcher using a muddler or wooden spoon to release oils without tearing the leaves.
  2. Add 1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice and juice of half a lime to the mixing glass. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of simple syrup or honey, stirring until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  4. Fill the glass or pitcher with about 1 cup of ice cubes to chill the mixture.
  5. Slowly pour in 1 cup of sparkling water. Stir gently once or twice to mix without losing the fizz.
  6. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig, a few cranberries, and optionally a thin lime wheel or peel twist. Serve immediately.

Notes

Do not over-muddle rosemary to avoid bitterness. Use good quality 100% unsweetened cranberry juice for best flavor. Add sparkling water last to preserve fizz. Chill ingredients beforehand for best results. Adjust sweetness gradually. For a crowd, multiply ingredients and muddle rosemary in batches.
