A quick and easy summer snack featuring smoky grilled peaches, creamy burrata, and a delicate honey drizzle on crisp flatbread. Perfect for casual gatherings or light appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces of flatbread (naan or pita recommended)
  • 2 ripe but firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 8 ounces fresh burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons high-quality honey (wildflower or orange blossom preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves, torn
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes, toasted pine nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  2. Halve and pit the peaches, then brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place peaches cut-side down on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear and peaches soften slightly. Flip and grill the skin side for 2 more minutes.
  4. Brush both sides of the flatbread with olive oil.
  5. Grill flatbread for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crisp.
  6. Transfer flatbread to a serving board. Tear or slice grilled peaches over the top, then add generous spoonfuls of burrata.
  7. Drizzle honey evenly over the flatbread, scatter torn basil leaves, and sprinkle with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  8. Cut into slices and serve immediately.

Notes

Let burrata sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving for creamier texture. If grilling indoors, ventilate well as peaches can smoke. Watch flatbread carefully to avoid burning. For gluten-free option, use gluten-free flatbread. Burrata can be substituted with fresh mozzarella or dairy-free cashew cheese.
