Quick and easy steak bites with a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Dice the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch cubes). Season with kosher salt and black pepper. Let sit while preparing other ingredients.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and swirl to coat.
  3. Add steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Work in batches if necessary.
  4. Remove steak bites from the skillet and set aside. Lower heat to medium. Add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until well-coated and warmed through.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley and red pepper flakes (if using) over the steak bites. Stir and remove from heat.
  8. Serve immediately for best results.
