Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the Brussels sprouts under cold water and pat them dry. Trim off the tough ends and remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.
  2. Gently peel off the outer leaves of each sprout until you reach the tightly packed core. Save the cores for another recipe or roast them alongside the chips.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the Brussels sprout leaves, olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss until every leaf is evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned leaves in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Work in batches if necessary. Cook for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping.
  6. Check for doneness. The chips are done when they’re crispy and golden brown. Keep an eye on them during cooking to prevent burning.
  7. Remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving. Enjoy immediately for the best crunch!

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking. Shake the basket halfway through cooking for maximum crispiness. Use fresh Brussels sprouts for the best results.
