These Easy Peanut Butter Banana Roll-Ups are a quick, healthy snack made with soft tortillas, creamy peanut butter, and ripe bananas. Perfect for kids and adults, they’re customizable, portable, and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium flour or whole wheat tortillas (6–8 inches diameter; use gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy or crunchy peanut butter (or almond/cashew/sunflower seed butter)
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey
  • Optional: Pinch of cinnamon
  • Optional: 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: tortillas, peanut butter, bananas, and any optional add-ins.
  2. Place a tortilla on a clean cutting board. Microwave for 10 seconds if stiff to soften.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon peanut butter evenly over each tortilla, edge to edge. Add honey or cinnamon if desired.
  4. Peel a banana and place it at one edge of the tortilla. Leave whole or slice lengthwise for easier rolling.
  5. Sprinkle on optional toppings like chia seeds, chocolate chips, or coconut.
  6. Roll the tortilla tightly around the banana, starting at the edge. Seal with a dab of peanut butter if needed.
  7. Slice each roll-up into 4–5 pieces using a sharp knife, wiping the blade between cuts.
  8. Arrange on a plate, sprinkle with extra cinnamon or honey if desired, and serve immediately or pack for later.

Notes

Use soft, fresh tortillas for best results. For gluten-free or vegan diets, substitute tortillas and nut/seed butters as needed. Don’t overfill to prevent roll-ups from unraveling. Make ahead by rolling and wrapping tightly; slice before serving. For a warm treat, grill in a skillet or panini press for 1–2 minutes.
