A quick and easy creamy dip made with Greek yogurt, sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh herbs, and garlic. Perfect for fresh veggies and ideal for parties, potlucks, or snack time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (use vegan mayo for dairy-free option)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Gather and prep your ingredients: measure Greek yogurt, sour cream, mayonnaise; mince garlic; chop dill and chives; squeeze lemon juice.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Whisk or fork blend until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, and chives until evenly distributed.
  4. Add salt and black pepper; taste and adjust seasoning. Optionally add smoked paprika or cayenne pepper for heat and mix well.
  5. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors and thicken the dip.
  6. Before serving, stir the dip and transfer to a serving bowl. Serve chilled with fresh veggie sticks.

Notes

If dip is too thick after chilling, stir in a teaspoon of water or milk to loosen. For milder garlic flavor, roast garlic before adding. Let dip rest longer for better flavor melding. Use plain Greek yogurt for best texture. Fresh herbs should be finely chopped.
