A fun and creamy dessert featuring layers of vanilla pudding, crushed chocolate cookies, gummy worms, and malted eggs, perfect for Easter or any playful occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz / 96 g)
  • 2 cups cold whole milk (480 ml)
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed (227 g)
  • About 15 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (Oreos or similar)
  • 1 small bag gummy worms (4 oz / 113 g)
  • 1 small bag malted milk eggs (4 oz / 113 g)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups (480 ml) of cold milk for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened. Let set for 5 minutes.
  2. Gently fold 8 oz (227 g) of thawed whipped topping into the pudding with a spatula until creamy and fluffy.
  3. Crush about 15 chocolate sandwich cookies in a plastic bag with a rolling pin until mostly fine crumbs with some small chunks remain. Save a few chunks for topping if desired.
  4. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of cookie crumbs into the bottom of each serving cup.
  5. Add a generous scoop of the creamy pudding mixture on top of the cookie crumbs and smooth gently.
  6. Sprinkle another layer of cookie crumbs over the pudding.
  7. Decorate the top with a few gummy worms partially buried in the cookie crumbs and nestle malted milk eggs around them.
  8. Refrigerate the cups for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld and pudding set.

Notes

For gluten-free, use gluten-free chocolate sandwich cookies. For dairy-free, substitute milk with almond or oat milk and use coconut whipped topping. Fold whipped topping gently to keep mixture airy. Chill at least 30 minutes for best texture. Assemble close to serving time to keep cookie crumbs crunchy.
