A luscious, silky dessert made with just five simple ingredients including heavy cream and Irish cream liqueur, perfect for cozy evenings and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Irish cream liqueur (e.g., Baileys)
  • 3 tablespoons (24 grams) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (60 grams) crushed digestive biscuits or graham crackers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
  2. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream into the chilled bowl.
  3. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, whip the cream for 3-5 minutes until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add 3 tablespoons (24 grams) powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, whipping for another minute until thickened.
  5. Carefully fold in 1/4 cup (60 ml) Irish cream liqueur using a spatula without deflating the whipped cream.
  6. If using, sprinkle crushed digestive biscuits or graham crackers (1/2 cup / 60 grams) into serving glasses, then spoon the creamy mixture on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  8. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries.

Notes

Keep bowl and beaters chilled for faster whipping. Use powdered sugar for smooth texture. Fold in Irish cream liqueur gently to maintain airiness. Serve within a few hours for best texture. Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge up to 2 days; avoid freezing.
