A rich, cheesy, and creamy dish combining crack chicken with pillowy gnocchi for the ultimate comfort food experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into bite-sized pieces
  • 16 ounces store-bought potato gnocchi
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning
  • 6 slices crispy, crumbled bacon
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil (if needed) and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add cream cheese and ranch seasoning, whisking until cream cheese is fully melted and mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir gnocchi into the sauce, ensuring each piece is coated. Cover skillet and let gnocchi cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
  5. Return cooked chicken to skillet, folding it into gnocchi and sauce.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and let it melt for 2-3 minutes. Top with crumbled bacon.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

[‘Use fresh gnocchi for the best texture.’, ‘Don’t overcook the chicken to avoid dryness.’, ‘Adjust sauce thickness with a splash of chicken broth or cream if needed.’, ‘Taste and season the sauce gradually.’, ‘Cook bacon separately for maximum crunch.’]
