  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease your 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the filling into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the filling.
  5. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
  7. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
